William King has been at the ‘Atlas Centre’ since the early 1960's and continued investment has seen the site grow to 25,000m2 of covered space, which is intensively used by the very substantial processing equipment that the company has installed. Currently our facilities include three wide slitting lines, three multi-blanking cut-to-length lines, three narrow slitting lines, four narrow cut-to-length lines, two lines for combining metal coils into multi-material blanks, two press-blanking lines, a coil-to-coil polishing line and extensive associated equipment give the company an unrivalled range of facilities on one site, serving the automotive, domestic appliance, building and packaging industries throughout the UK and Europe. The range of materials includes Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Tinplate, Blackplate and Pre-Painted Steel; presently, over 200,000 tonnes per annum are being handled and despatched.
